InfoRad IP Based Messaging Technology Overview: If you’re looking to replace an aging on-site Zetron or other paging terminal equipment, implementing InfoRad's IP based system technology provides software input versatility, network performance monitoring / alarming and eliminates serial port connectivity issues. Below is a pictorial representation of InfoRad’s IP messaging technology. It displays various software and hardware solutions for messaging, monitoring, and alerting within both campus and wide area environments. Our IP system encoders / transmitters are pocsag and either 450 or 150Mhz. The InfoRad software suite also supports Unication encryption along with multicasting and wide area cellular messaging network support via the InfoRad Enterprise Messaging Gateway. InfoRad software with the multicast IP messaging option can talk to one or many TX200 encoders over IP thus providing cost effective wide area, facility or campus coverage when messaging alpha paging receivers. Implementation is simple. InfoRad software maintains your subscriber database and when an individual or group is selected, it sends the respective capcode over the internet or intranet to the TX200 units which provide the pocsag encoding and RF output of 2 Watts to key the RF power amp. The RF power amp is also IP based for setup and performance monitoring. The RF amp allows you to see from your browser the RF input wattage from the TX200, the RF amp's overall performance and optionally set associated alarm thresholds. The InfoRad IP messaging technology is a cost effective solution to replace aging Zetron or other older paging terminal equipment. Please note it does not provide a telco interface and over-dial to pagers. The InfoRad software suit provides you with multiple input interface capabilities with other system technology as well as the ability to message through wide area paging systems like Spok and American Messaging. The InfoRad Messaging Gateway is an enterprise level service for messaging cell phones.
