In order to save changes to database files or for the software to create log files, users must have Read/Write/Modify permissions.

On Desktop verisons of the software this usually means granting permissions to the InfoRad Wireless program folder for all users.

Also note, that when the software is installed for ALL USERS, you may have to add Full Control permissions for all users to the InfoRad registry tree for users to be able to save changes to program Preferences.
(Start menu - Run - Regedit - HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\InfoRad). (On Windows 64-bit OS HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\WOW6432Node\InfoRad.)

On network versions, all Client users on the machine require the same permissions as above for the local Client folder and registry.

For users that are running the Enterprise SV Controller application remotely, and database updates are not saving, first make sure that they are editing the correct database files (database location), and then check to make sure that their user account has Read/Write/Modify to the server database files (Users.irt, groups.irt, Services.irt).
